Beautiful Victorian English silver coffee pot. The lettering on the side has the maker's mark that reads TWD,a walking lion, a panther head, the date letter M, and a portrait of Queen Victoria. The pot has its original ebony wood handle. The letter marking dates this 1887. It is in very good pre-owned condition with no dents or dings and no monograms. The underside reads Dobson Piccadilly indicating the merchant that sold this piece, not the maker. This is a beautiful unusually shaped coffee pot guaranteed to please any advanced English silver collector. Height to the top of the handle 8 inches. From the pouring spout to the back of the handle it measures 6-7/8 inches. Height to the top of the silver finial 8-1/4 inches. Diameter at the top is 4-1/4 inches. Diameter at the bottom 3-5/8 inches. Weight 20 troy ounces. (Item #73355)
