Beautiful antique French silver gilt lined box with 19th century French silver hallmarks showing the maker's mark in a diamond P star F. The box is in excellent condition. It has crisp markings of the winged head along the side of the box as well as the maker's marks. The miniature painting is a lovely rendition of Cupid and Psyche. This is a very rare and quite beautiful antique French silver box with a lovely painting at the top as an added bonus. The box has a diameter of 2-1/2 inches. It measures 1 inch high.
