Vintage pair of Georg Jensen sterling silver lemon forks. Made in Denmark post 1945. Each fork is almost 4 3/4 inches long. Weigh 33grams together. Slender, elegant form with a pair of claw-like tynes to pierce and twist a lemon. Tapering handles with a scrolling, beaded pattern where it joins the tynes. THe handle is ridged in the center and slopes slightly downwards towards each side, adding to the elegant appearance of the fork. The terminal is like the capitol of a Greek columne with scrolling acanthus and a bud in the center. Very subtle, sophisticated design and highly attractive, useful items. Each fork is hallmarked with Georg Jensen hallmark - oval of indented dots with engraved Georg Jensen in the middle and STERLING DENMARK under it. One of the forks has a pair of Swedish import marks as well. Very good condition.
