Sterling silver souvenir spoon of Canada made by the Dominion Jewelry Manufacturing Company. Approximately 4 5/8" long. Marks include the DJ, a castle and the work STERLING. The handle is decorated with motif concerning Canada, a beaver, some leaves and the work CANADA. There is some enamelling that is partially missing. The bowl shows the Clock Tower in Halifax. The Dominion Jewelry Manufacturing Company was from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. They made souvenir spoons during the 1900's. They went bankrupt about 1910 and its dies were acquired by Breadner Mfg. Co. This spoon is a little bent but otherwise in good condition.
