Beautiful large sized handled child's or christening cup by Ball Black & Company of New York NY. Approximately 3 7/8" tall and at the top it is 3 1/4" in diameter and 5.60 troy ounces. Monogrammed with what looks like E T C. Beautifully engraved scrolling design with beading at the bottom. The top has a stylistic acanthus leave design. Marked on the bottom BALL BLACK & CO, NEW YORK, and 925 over 1000 in a shield. The shield is a sign of quality in early American silver. The Ball Black & Company mark was used from 1851-1874. Very good condition.
