1900'S Sterling Silver Repousse Schofield Baltimore Rose Extremely Rare Unusual Open Sauce Gravy or Sugar Bowl. This is one of three well known Baltimore Silversmiths, the others being Kirk and Stieff in the Early 20TH Century that gave Baltimore the reputation of the City of Very Fine Silver. All three of these companies made this wonderful rose repousse pattern in sterling silver flatware and serving pieces such as Tea Sets, Bowls, Trays, Wine Tankards, etc. This piece is a very unusual piece and recently came out of a Baltimore Estate. Fresh to the market, this open bowl has a wonderful Deep Repousse Pattern of roses that goes all the way around the sides of this piece and all the way to the foot. It has a plain inside sterling bottom with no monogram. The top opening measures 6 1/4" X 4" And rests on a oval base that measures 3 1/4" X 2 1/4". The underside bottom has the Schofield Mark with the impressed #1410. Excellent Condition.
