Circa 1890-1910 Beautiful Silverplate and Cobalt Glass open salt cellar. This piece is unmarked. Origin is either American or English. This oval salt has a silver holder that stands on four claw and ball footed legs. It has a gorgeous open work pattern or Scrollwork and Filigree. It has a fitted cobalt glass liner. This very exceptopnal piece is 1 7/8" tall and is 3" long. Condition is Extremely Good with no chips or cracks to the liner. There are no breaks or bends to the fine silver holder and only some very light wear to the raised edges of the open work patter.
