Attractive silver lipstick holder, dating 1930s-40s. German .800 silver, with lovely design of acanthus scrolls and flowers. Top pulls out, and releases spring-up mirror. The locking button to this is also the push-up button for the lipstick. There should be a gemstone or piece of agate in the button, but this is missing - you could replace it with something of your own choice. These little kits were what the sophisticated woman would carry with her for touch-ups of the lippy. Square form case, measuring 1.8 cm square, and 5.6 cm long. Takes a lipstick 1.2 cm diameter.
