Very attractive set of fruit knives and forks - sterling silver handles and silver plated tines and blades.
British hallmarks for Birmingham, 1920. Maker is William Devenport. The knives are shaped like pate knives and would be very useful in this role. Fruit knives and forks are also useful for entrees, and this is an elegant set, with a nice pattern detail to the handles. Knives are 16.5 cm long, and forks are 15.5 cm long.
They come in their original case. All in excellent condition - maybe a wedding present never used. Case is also excellent.
