Rare and beautiful silver enamel covered box with gilt wash interior. Along the upper lid is numbered 43 next to that is 935 for purity of the silver and a maker's mark. Sterling is 925 this is one notch above sterling silver. It is signed with a maker's mark next to the purity mark. In some small areas along the bottom of the box it has minor professional restoration unseen without magnification. The top of the box has a design that looks like two crossed torches and a bow. This is a very rare enamel box in very good to excellent condition guaranteed to please as are all our items. It measures 3 inches high, 1-1/2 wide, 1-1/4 deep, weight 77.1 grams. (Item #72500)
