Rare antique double size folding travel spoon, one side is a teaspoon the other side a table spoon. When extended the spoons measure 6-3/8 inches. The tablespoon bowl measures 2-1/2 inches long and 1-5/8 inches wide. The teaspoon bowl measures 2 inches long and 1-1/8 inches wide. When folded and closed the bottom section measures 2-1/2 inches long by 1-5/8 inches wide. Weight 29.8 grams, just under 1 ounce. The spoon is marked Sterling with a maker's mark & Co it is numbered 8290. I have never seen one of these before. It is an interesting piece. It is in very good pre-owned condition commensurate with age and use. The tablespoon has the initials GV near the hinge. You have to look to find it it's not real obvious. This is an interesting piece that would make a nice condition to anyone's spoon collection. (Item #73362)
