This antique set, truly dinner size,is very showy on the table, distinguished by its fluted bowls reflecting light. Please note the beading on the shanks,a rare detail on current silver patterns. It has no monograms, no removals. This pattern was issued by Towle Silversmiths c. 1895. This sterling silver set dates prior 1930 as the pieces do not have TOWLE printed on the shanks; they only have the Towle hallmark.
