English Sterling Silver hallmarked wine taster. The handle is a stylized snake. It has English hallmarks on the side (please see picture). In the center is an inset medal of King Edward VIII. The back of the medal reads "ASCENDED THE THRONE JAN. 20TH 1936 ABDICATED DEC 10TH 1936". The taster has a couple minor dings, other than that it is in excellent condition. Weight 109.7 grams (well over 3 troy ounces). From the snake handle to the lip of the taster it measures 4-3/8 inches, width is of 3-1/2 inches, height 1-1/4 inches.
