Large Indian/Burmese silver bowl, colonial period, heavily embossed with scenes of hunters on elephant and horseback, hunting tigers (although they look like lions), and Indian antelopes etc. Peacock embossed under the base. No stamps or maker's marks. Bowl measures 11.5 cm high and 17 cm diameter. It has a number of age holes - only one of which (the largest) is at all visible from the outside. The base and foot rim of the bowl is intact, so can be used for a pot plant or similar. Very striking appearance, nice example of this style. Weight 542g.
