This is a nice solid brandy warmer, or sauce boat with a wooden handle. Made by S. Kirk & Son, the lines are classic, with the simplicity characteristic of understated elegance. Condition is excellent, with barely noticeable signs of use. The weight is a hefty 5.1 troy ounces. Length is 8 1/8" and diameter 4 1/8". Marked S. Kirk & Son, sterling, number 53 and Shreve Crump & Low.
