Superb set of 6 fruit knives, with mother of pearl handles, sterling silver ferrules, tips and blades; made by master smith Armand-Edouard Cardeilhac, active in Paris from 1851-1904. This is a classic set, exquisitely made with glorious rainbow hued pearl (the pictures don't begin to do them justice) and beautifully decorated repousse silver tips and ferrules. Each piece is fully hallmarked with the .950 sterling guarantee and maker's punch for cardeilhac. Condition is excellent. A beautiful patina on the tips and ferrules that I wouldn't think of touching.
