Elegant silver sugar tongs, British hallmarks for London 1912. Also has a stamped registration number. The curved end of the tongs has an engraved crest of an open-mouthed roaring lion's head over a crenulated crown.
Tongs measure 14.1 cm long. Now that lump sugar is available, tongs have come back into use. This item is quite a large size, so suitable also for ice tongs for that essential ice in your whisky. TSW: 46.37g.
