Beautiful antique Art Nouveau sterling silver serving spoon dated 1886. The center of the spoon is gold with a beautiful Art Nouveau design centered with a hand chaised flower and foliate design. The rest of the spoon handle is also hand chased with floral design and a 3 letter monogram that could be polished out if one wanted. The back of the handle is dated 1886 and at the very bottom just above the back of the spoon bowl it has a maker's mark and is marked sterling. The spoon measures 8-5/8 inches long. The spoon bowl measures 2-5/8 inches wide by 3-1/4 inches long. Weight 2 troy ounces. This is a beautiful antique Art Nouveau silvered gilt fancy serving spoon in excellent condition.
