Exquisite antique Georgian English sterling silver sugar caster has the markings for William Burwash and Richard Sibley, London circa 1800. The markings indicate the cap was made in London in 1884. The cartouche has an engraved coat of arms. Height 7-1/2 inches, Widest width at base 3-1/2 inches. Weight 328.5 grams (more than 10 troy ounces). The sugar caster has high relief floral decoration in the central portion with a cartouche. The top has a lovely floral high relief sculptured details and cut out portions for the sugar.
