Handsome soup ladle, fiddle pattern finial, rat-tail rear. Engraved with the letter "M" or "W" depending on which way up you think it is. Ladle measures 33.5 cm long, and has a bowl 8 cm by 10.5 cm (13.1/4 inches, and bowl is 3.1/8 inches by 4.1/8 inches). Excellent condition. Maker is Ady Bellamy Savory & Sons - prestigious makers, London. Mark dates it to Circa 1854-1866.
