Beautiful antique Sheffield silver plated Victorian monumental open salt. It has a pedestal base with lovely Victorian high relief sculptured decorations. The diameter at the base is 4-1/4 inches. The diameter at the top is 4 inches. Height 4-3/8 inches. Weight 15 troy ounces. Provenance the Corbel personal collection Los Angeles California. Mr. Corbel passed away shortly after selling his business in 2000. This was part of his personal collection of outstanding silver and silver plated items. It is in excellent condition.
