Beautiful silver plate and white mother of pearl set of six each fruit knives and forks. Made by prestigious British company Mappin & Webb. Slim knives and forks - unusual serrated edge to reverse tip of the knife blades. This type of set is very useful for entrees such as terrine, cold meats etc. as well as for fruit and desserts. Knife is 18.25 cm long, fork is 15 cm long.
They come in their original oak box with the Mappin & Webb logo inside the lid. Circa 1920s, and in excellent condition. Normal usage scuffs, but no damage at all. The box is immaculate.
