1920s-30s silver plated case with chain handle - opens to reveal a place for calling cards or even a cigarette or two in the lid, two coin slots for change, and another compartment that may have been for makeup or maybe a currency bill. Item measures 9 cm by 6.1 cm. It has a shallow line dent in the rear, and also on the rear some scuffs commensurate with age. The interior looks like new - the springs in the coin slots are still very firm, and the gilded interior is in excellent condition. The front of the case is also in excellent condition. Stamped EAM, Made in U.S.A.
