Lovely silver plate belt dating from the Edwardian era, 1901-1910. Most unusually, it has a spring action which allows the belt to expand a little - total length of the belt static is 54 cm (25 inches), but it can be pulled out to about 73.5 cm or 29 inches. Central medallion of belt measures 10 cm wide by 6 cm deep, and the rest of the belt is 2.5 cm deep, with the clasp being the same as the medallion. (4 inches by 2.3/8 inches, and 1 inch). Very good condition.
