Antique Silver Plate : A good Hukin & Heath Claret Jug : 19thC
A good silver plate on copper and blown glass Claret Jug by Hukin & Heath, the top having bacchus scenes and the lid with a rampant lion holding a vacant shield. The glass of unusual shape and star cut bottom - very lovely item.
Circa: late 19th / earcly 20th century
Good overall Antique Condition, the lid being pressed down a bit which is easy and cheap to put right and usual wear to the plate at highlights - please see images - glasss lightly cloudy although I can see dried liquor is inside so with proper cleaning should be fine (in images the glass looks cloudier then it really is due to the shapeof the base and light reflections)
10.5 inches (27cm) height approx
