Good-looking silver plate tea service - teapot, creamer, sugar and hot water or coffee pot. Maker is James Dixon, Sheffield, England, and it would date circa 1920s. Melon-shaped, very attractive, with lobed bodies and bud finial to the lids. Creamer and sugar have gilded interiors (stops tarnish tainting the milk or sugar). Excellent condition.
Measurements: Teapot is 15 cm high and 30 cm wide handle to spout. Coffee pot is 24 cm high. A very good set by a very good maker.
