American Victorian silver quadruple plate tea kettle / teapot on stand with burner. Made by the Wilcox company in Meriden Conn., USA, 19th century. Measures 11 3/4inches high. Classic sinuous fluted silverwork with retrained, subtle raised foliate decoration. Beautiful lines and design and top quality quadruple silver plate. Hinged lid in good order. Removable burner. Marked underneath with engraved Wilcox Logo - two concentric circles with the name of the company, Meriden Conn and Quadruple Plate. Also engraved with number 5 027 1/2. Great condition.
