For sale is a beautiful coin silver soup or punch ladle by S. Kirk & Son of Baltimore, Maryland. Monogrammed. Approximately 13 1/2" long and the bowl measures 3 1/4" in diameter. It weighs 5.16 troy ounces. circa 1840-1860. Marks include S. KIRK & SON, 10.15. The 10.15 standard was used in Maryland c. 1840-60. The pattern looks very much like Maryland or Maryland Engraved. This is a beautiful ladle in very good condition. There are a couple of very minor dents in the bowl that can easily be removed.
