Beautiful coin silver coffee pot by Beggs & Smith. c.1840. Approximately 11" tall and 34 troy ounces. Marked on the bottom BEGGS & SMITH. Stylized acorn finial with a chased floral decoration on the cover. (see photo) The handle and spout have a scrolled chased decoration. The body of the pot has eight panels of crossed hatched and floral chased decoration. One panel has a cartouche which is not monogrammed. Very good condition. One pin is missing in the handle. It can be easily replaced.
