For sale are 12 beautiful and early tablespoons or serving spoons. Approximately 8 1/2" long and a heavy 40.63 troy ounces. Monogrammed in a shield on the back of the handle. See photos. Circa 1850. They are listed under Whiting division as Le Cordon, sterling c.1850. These were retailed by Ball Black & Co. Marked Ball Black & Co. They are not marked sterling but Ball Black made 925 and 950 sterling in their early years. I am listing them as coin silver because of the absence of a mark. Very good condition.
