This Royal Copenhagen crackle ware footed, fluted compote with peaches is 9" high, 10-1/2" in diameter at the top. There is a branch with two peaches in the center, highlighted in gold, surrounded by a slim gold line, further surrounded by elegant fluting. The compote stands on a square base. The fluting is fairly unusual in this ware. The piece dates to about the 1920's or '30's. It is in excellent vintage condition, no cracks or chips, although there are two score marks through the logo. It weighs 4 lbs. without the packing.
