Victorian, date cipher for 1871 Pair Minton Majolica crescent shaped flower troughs decorated with cobalt, ochre edged ribbon detail to exterior. Turquoise ground. Turquoise interior. Four rectangular, ochre feet underneath. Three stilt marks to underside along with raised pattern registration diamond, impressed maker''s marks ''MINTON'', ''1552'' and date cipher for 1871. Good. Trough 1: Kiln effect: a few glaze pops to interior. Repaired bruise to rim. Repaired star hairline to reverse, partly visible inside. Restored flake to ribbon edge at front. Trough 2: Slight wear to rim at front and to ribbon at reverse. Two restored flakes to ribbon edge at front. 10ins wide, 2.75ins high
