Victorian, circa 1870 Minton? Majolica salt in the form of a putto, draped in a blue loin cloth, sat upon the rim of a shell. Base molded as a mythical dolphin. Turquoise interior and underside. Attributed to Minton. Good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. Two small chips to underside of shell rim. Very slight wear to interior. Kiln effect: two small over glazed shrinkage lines to the interior. 7.5ins high
