Victorian, circa 1870 George Jones Majolica matchstick holder modeled as a bird in front of a fence and turquoise barrel. Molded on a green, circular base with grass. Mauve glaze to barrle interior and underside. Maker''s marks to underside edge. Good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. Tiny flake to beak tip. Kiln effects: glaze pops around barrel rim; over glazed manufacture chip to end of right wing. 3ins high
