Circa 1880 Choisy le Roi Majolica triform centerpiece bowl. Dish formed by three clam shells, leafy sprigs laid inside. Lobster with a fish in its claw, forming the handle. Cream reverse. Vent hole and painted maker''s mark inside the foot. Good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. Small chip and flake to the foot. Slight wear to interior. Kiln effect: crazing visible on the cream glaze. 13ins wide, 5.5ins high
