Circa 1890 Majolica Palissy posy vase modeled as a circular brown pot decorated with a flowering branch, on top of a support which is surrounded by squid like tentacles. Light green and cream interior to pot. Mottled green and brown circular base. Cream underside with impressed maker''s mark ''TS''. Generally good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. Paint losses to support and tentacles. Kiln effect: a few small pieces of kiln detritus to pot exterior. 5ins high
