Victorian, circa 1860 Staffordshire spill vase modeled as a fox standing in front of a tree. Recumbent lamb lying on the ground beneath. Two legs of fox are molded free. Dull gilt line and decoration around spill rim. Painted mark to underside. Good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. Some small paint losses to tail, spill, ground, nose and paw. Slight wear to the fox''s side. Some rubbing to gilt. Kiln effect: small touch mark to tail tip. 7.75ins high
