Victorian, circa 1860 Staffordshire spill vase modeled as an elephant standing in front of a tree shaped spill vase. Dull gilt line to base and around spill rim. Similar piece illustrated figure a2942B, page 265, Schiffer''s ''Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835-1875'' Book 3, by A.& N. Harding. Good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. No flakes. Very slight wear to the elephant''s ear and body. 6.5ins high
