Victorian, circa 1860 Staffordshire spill vase modeled as a castle with two turrets forming spill holders. Castle in peach with central clock face and three windows, three purple finials above clock, and shredded clay decoration to walls, roof and ground. Dull gilt base line and decoration. Good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. No paint losses. Slight rubbing to gilt. Kiln effects: shrinkage line halfway up the tallest turret; and another to reverse. 5.25ins high
