Victorian, circa 1860 Staffordshire spill vase modeled as a pointer poised before tree shaped spill on an oval naturalistic base. Two legs are molded free. Shredded clay decoration to upper base and spill. Dull gilt line and spill rim. Good. No cracks. Tight hairline to front right leg. No chips. Some small abrasions to spill rim. Rubbing to gilt. Slight wear to reverse and top of Pointer''s head. Kiln effect: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to upper base edge. Repair to tail. Repaired hairline to hind right leg. 6.25ins high
