Pre-Victorian, circa 1820 Staffordshire Pearlware spill vase modeled as a sheep standing before a bocage tree, with a recumbent lamb on the ground in front. Shredded clay and flowers on the ground. Sheep''s legs molded free. Decorated all round. Good. No cracks. No hairlines. Tiny chip to blue flower on ground. A few tiny flakes to bocage. A few paint losses to the ground. Retouching to reverse of right hand spill branch and to parts of spill. Sheep''s ears restored. 6ins high
