Victorian, circa 1870 Small Staffordshire spill vase in the form of a black and white horse standing in front of a tree. Four legs molded free. Naturalistic ground with shredded clay decoration. Decorated all round. Painted mark to underside. Good. No cracks. No hairlines. Very minor paint losses to nose, mane and spill rim. Repair to center of spill. Restored chip to reverse of highest branch. Retouching to the horse markings and ground. 6ins high
