Early 20thC Pair Kent Staffordshire ram and ewe spill vases molded with three legs free on naturalistic bases. Granulated clay coats. Shredded clay decoration to ground and spill. Dull gilt decoration around spill rim. Pink spill interiors. Painted mark to underside of ewe. Good. No restoration. Some rubbing to gilt. Ram: Kiln effects: manufacture mark to right eye; piece of kiln detritus to base. Ewe: Paint loss to right eye. Kiln effects: glaze miss to reverse of spill; glaze run to reverse of base; touch marks to underside of base; some crazing. 5.5ins high
