Victorian, circa 1870 Majolica vase in the form of an upside down shell on three coral supports. Triangular shaped base with seaweed molding and a cockle shell. Exterior glazed in green, brown and ochre. Pink vase interior. Ochre glaze to underside with impressed ''42'' on the edge. Good. No restoration. No hairlines. No chips. No flakes. Kiln effects: star shrinkage crack to vase interior at base; over glazed shrinkage crack to base of one coral support. 6.5ins high
