Victorian, circa 1870 Majolica vase with a winged maiden on either side and a horned satyr mask on either side of the rim. Hanging grapevine with fruits between the maidens. Cobalt ground. Four leafy scroll feet. Light green interior. Has a number of characteristics associated with the Lonitz factory. Good. No cracks. No hairlines. Tiny flake to one horn of each satyr. Small flake to tiara. Kiln effects: piece of kiln detritus to one wing. Restored chip to wing. Restoration to tiaras. 10.75ins high
