Circa 1900 Large Delphin Massier Majolica baluster vase decorated with irises on turquoise ground. Petals glazed in purple and cream with yellow stamen. Purple glaze around the base. Turquoise and cream glaze to interior. Cream underside with stilt marks and painted maker''s mark ''Delphin Massier Vallauris (AM)''. Good. No cracks. No hairlines. Several flakes to the decoration. A few minor nibbles to the petals. Kiln effect: some glaze run from the petals. Repair to three iris petals. Restored chip to iris petal. Restored flakes to another iris petal. Restored flake to rim and another to base. 20.5ins high
