This is a graceful Art Nouveau amphora poppy vase by RstK made between 1900-1908. It is tall, beautifully shaped and decorated. The number on the bottom is 533/14. It is stamped Made in Austria Turn Teplitz Bohemia. The vase has a high pale green leaf handle and lava lips shaded in gold. The lip which should have held either a damsel or an applied flower is severly damaged as shown in the picture. Some pale green and spots of gold are missing. That does not take away from the beauty or usefulness of the vase. Moving down the vase is a grouping of gilt edged poppies in pale lavender and pale peach. There are also berries and tiny yellow flowers that extend to the base. The back is also decorated in a smaller version o the poppy theme. This is a theatrical cabinet piece perfect for display or usage. Status: For Sale Reference#: 12602 Condition: damaged Year: 1908 Country: Austria Maker: RstK Height: 17 in. (43.18 cm) Width: 6 in.
