Rare and estate fresh Roseville Pottery Mara gold luster glaze vase. EXCELLENT CONDITION. Two short and very hard to detect hairlines at rim that look like crazing but are detectable with a fingernail. Extremely difficult to see even under close inspection and no other chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. One glaze pinhole and white underglaze showing on the raised knobs as shown in the photo. Bottom marked with stamped number which is not legible. Bottom looks black in the photo but it is also a golden luster. Vase is 6 3/4" tall and 5 1/4" wide. This vase is from the Merritt collection. His matte to this vase is shown on page 63 of Understanding Roseville Pottery. Very rare find in an undocumented glaze.
