Roseville Pottery, Baneda, Pink Double Handled Vase - For Sale

Roseville Pottery, Baneda, Pink Double Handled Vase
Price: $495.00
For sale I have a very nice piece of Art Pottery made by The Roseville Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The Pattern is Called "Baneda" and it is a lovely Double Handled Cabinet Vase. The Vase stands 6 1/8" Tall and is 3 7/8" in diameter.

The Vase depicts a deep mottled pink/red background glaze. It has a Blue Vertically Ribbed Band with burnt Orange Pumpkins and Yellow Gold Flowers with Green Foliage. The Piece is accented at the Top with two looped or Ear Shaped Handles that scroll over from the head to the body of the vessel. It is narrow at the top and tapers to a bulbous bottom that sits on a Round Foot .

The piece is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. There is a small glaze miss on one of the Handles. There is "No Crazing". It is hard to find these with no crazing. The Piece is signed on the bottom with Remnants of the Roseville Triangular Foil Label. There is also the number 4 lightly incised into the bottom as well as the number 9 written in Blue Grease Pencil or Glaze. More than likely this was the finishers numbers as these are mold made pieces.

Baneda has always proven to be a worthy Investment. This pattern has climbed substantially in value through the years. This is truly a wonderful example of The "Pink or Red Baneda Line". This is known as Shape number 602-6" in the Roseville Catalog an this Vase was made, Circa 1933. I'm sure the lucky Buyer will not be disappointed.
