Good mid-century Rorstrand Pottery vase. Great color and glaze. MINT CONDITION. No chips, cracks, damage, or repair of any kind. Vase measures 10" tall and 4 1/2" wide. Marked with a paper label. Rorstrand was established in Sweden in 1726. In 1931 Gunnar Nylund along with Carl-Harry Stalhane (who was appointed senior artist in 1939) began developing the simple, organic shapes that have since become so sought-after by collectors. Rorstrand is probably the most widely recognized Scandinavian art pottery.
